For our math's this week we have been been learning how to draw 3D shapes. Some of them were very challenging for me because I don't really know how to draw so it took me a couple of tries to get them right,but I got it in the end! I know have to do the quick ten that is on the side of the sheet. hopefully I get some of them right!

Last week Sharon's group had to make a info graphic on a different illnesses.
I chose Epilepsy because it is the one I know the most about.Next time I do this i think that i should put a different background on so that it pops out more!

My Intresting Maths

This past week in math´s we have been learning about 3D shapes and how to make them.We started by identifying what shapes are which. After we drew them and cut them out.The first one I forgot to out tabs on so it would be easier to glue together.The next one I accidentally cut one off but I ended up just sticking it back on with tape! It took a while to fully glue together because I had to wait a little for the glue to dry because it kept falling apart. 

For the last eight weeks we have been learning about our " Dream careers " .

We first started off by doing a quiz to see what job would work the best for us. We then narrowed it down to the top ten , then the top five , top three  and then to the one that  we wanted to research about.

I then started on my research on my chosen career was a doctor/ nurse . I then found out heaps of different facts and then arranged them onto a slideshow .  It took a couple of days to get it up to a good standard but i got a bit of help from one of my friends

A couple of days later we had an expo for the year . we all got divided into sections according to our jobs so all the doctors and everything to do with doctors all went into one area. The expo went on for about 30 minutes and then we went home!!

Thursday Tech Day!!!!!!!

Every Thursday our class and some of Ata Hapara goes down to the Linwood College technology center.The tech classes that we are in for about a term have about 25 people in each class. For the last about seven weeks I have been doing technology where I have made a light and in fabrics I made a skirt. Now in Technology I am making a basket ball hoop and in fabrics I am making scrunchies.

In five years time...

In about five years time i want to see myself in  the university of Otago to get a diploma to Doctor.i hope to go to go to high school for the as long as i can.i also want to go up and explore some other places that i have always wanted to go.
